Your Guides:

I’m Lily Russo, your main guide on the Intuitive Ayurveda Deep Dive. I am a Yoga Teacher, leader of 200 hour Yoga Teacher Trainings, founder of Awakened Heart Retreats, and an Ayurvedic Practitioner.

I’ve been studying ayurveda for the past 16 years. I became fascinated with ayurveda when it was a part of my first yoga teacher training and love how it has transformed my relationships: with myself, with my loved ones, with food, with nature.

In 2020 I completed a 300 hour Ayurvedic Wellness Coaching training through Shakti School. In 2023, I graduated with my Master of Science Degree in Maharishi Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine at Maharishi International University. My passion and purpose is sharing this healing knowledge with a world that desperately needs it. Ayurveda has helped me manage anxiety, digestive problems, and sleep struggles. It has allowed me to help many others with issues ranging from ulcers, IBS, constipation, depression, menopause, autoimmune disorders, hair loss, metabolism issues, acne, and more.

My approach to ayurveda is gentle and intuitive. For three years I studied with Indian Vaidyas (Doctors of Ayurveda). While I learned invaluable healing knowledge from them, I realized the difficulty in translating this ancient information to western audiences. In my own life and in my teaching, I’ve distilled the teachings to their principles, and left out the rules, and am passionate about making this priceless knowledge relatable to modern minds.

Ultimately, my aim is to help you enliven your body’s intelligence by prompting you to listen, respond to, and care for your body, supported by the beautiful, timeless principles of natural law that ayurveda so elegantly embodies.
