Lassi Recipe
Drinking lassi is the traditional ayurvedic way to consume healthy probiotics to support the microbiome and improve digestion. It’s best made fresh and consumed with lunch or dinner.
Making Lassi is SO fun and EASY!
Simple Sweet Recipe: (Best for Vata and Pitta)
Add about 1/4 cup plain whole milk yogurt (or coconut yogurt as a dairy alternative) to a glass. Add about 1 cup water and a dash of cardamom and stir very well. I like to add a little squeeze of agave to sweeten. For a special treat, try adding rose water in place of water (by soaking rose petals in water overnight)
Savory Recipe: (Best for Vata and Kapha)
Add about 1/4 cup plain whole milk yogurt (or coconut yogurt as a dairy alternative) to a glass. Add about 1 cup water and a dash of salt, cumin, and coriander and stir very well.
